The New Year is always a good time for new beginnings. It’s time we starting sharing more of our secrets. Our own events, great initiatives from friends and a few raw thoughts as we build in public.

If this isn’t for you, no hard feelings - unsubscribe below.

We’re closing in on finding a building in London. Many of you met Xenofon at recent events, and you’re going to be seeing a lot more of the team on the ground in London over the coming months.

As we prepare to open our doors, we’re supporting our Floor Leads and galvanising the community.

Have a vision for something new in the London ecosystem? We want to hear from you.

+1 Dinners

We are hosting a series of curated, themed +1 dinners across the different verticals of our community to create a space to share expertise from the frontiers of technology and arts.

We are bringing together top founders, ecosystem builders and capital allocators pushing the frontiers of technology and arts for an intimate, informal dinner - a format we have found to foster lasting connections from just one evening.

Suggest a theme for our next dinner here: https://luma.com/56qcomri

After Hours Salon

We’re hosting open discussions that bridge tech and culture. For techno-optimists and sceptics. The kind of conversations that spill over into the night.

First one’s on the 20th - When the barrier to creation disappears, does culture follow?
Let us know what question we should address next.

Can’t reveal all our secrets, but put Friday 20th February in the calendar!!!

Till next time,
Lachlan and the FT Team

Our Events:

Truth in a Post AI World: How do we verify?

Monday 12th January
w/ Nethermind & DeSci London

With the pace of generative media, trust becomes a priceless currency. Some say we're entering a post-truth age. Others think blockchain and cryptographic verification might be the answer.
This is a casual gathering of AI advocates, blockchain builders, and curious citizens to discuss the future. Experts in the verification space from Nethermind and beyond will seed the discussion. Come curious!

We'll be up on the terrace at the Old Fountain from 7pm.

Frontier Dinners: The Robot Moment.
Why 2026 Is the Year for Hardware

Thursday 15th January

Foundation models are finally useful. Costs are dropping. Capital is flowing back to hardware. But we've heard "this is the year" before.
Sixteen founders, investors, and ecosystem builders deep in the London robotics scene.
Eight invitees, eight plus-ones. Dinner, drinks and deep discussion with pioneers in your field.

We’re oversubscribed for this dinner - let use know what the next one should be here: https://luma.com/56qcomri

After Hours Salon: Taste in the Age of AI

Tuesday 20th January, Old St

When the barrier to creation disappears, does culture follow?
Or by mastering elements such as messaging and emotional storytelling can the worlds of tech and art collide.

We’re bringing together techno-optimists, artists and the builders of the tech they love and hate to find out. Expect drinks, nibbles, a few provocations from people who've thought hard about this, and the kind of conversations that spill over into the night.

We’re going to start the discussion from a few experts in the field then let it propagate into informal chats.

Events from our Friends:

If you’re not dining with us on the 15th, check out the Unicorn Mafia’s first Demo Night. They’re onto the waitlist, but if you’re a cracked dev dm me and I’ll try to get you in!

Come celebrate the 2nd birthday of our friends at SoTA with dancing robots…

This is going to be a regular email - if you’re working on cool things and want us to feature them, let me know!
