Where do you go to hang out? To work? To learn? To relax?

It is a great privilege of building a company, and even more so a community, that you have a licence to meet and interrogate a myriad of fascinating people. Perhaps it’s just you need to have a passion, but it certainly gives me the confidence to track down new people and places.

I was in Turin during the week, and visited OGR Tech, a beautifully designed space from which we can certainly take some inspiration for Frontier Tower. However we must learn from the lack of accessibility of this space, especially to visitors. I encountered the same problem in SF. Outside of structured events, it is very hard to explore beyond ones bubble. We seem to retreat ever further to our private spaces. We can blame COVID, cost of living, increasing cultural division. But in many ways these are symptoms not causes of our siloed society.

So where do you go to hang out? To work? To learn? To relax? Why should these be separated. We’re building a place in London where they don’t have to be.

Frontier Dinners

We are hosting a series of curated +1 dinners across the different verticals of our community to create a space to share expertise from the frontiers of technology.

The robotics dinner was incredible. Next up we’ll be addressing the role of Blockchain in “How we Trust in a Post AI World” and then diving deep into NeuroTech as a follow up to the London NeuroTech Hackathon.

Moonshot: A 5050 x Frontier Tower Forum

Friday 20th February, 5-8.30pm, Soho

We’re teaming up with our friends at 50Y to host our first Frontier Tower Forum, addressing the question, “What does it take to build a moonshot company in the UK”.

Founders leading groundbreaking companies, exceptional builders making their next move, and the ecosystem players backing decade-long bets. The right people in one room house talking about what we can actually do to enable transformational companies.

And wrapping up with an afterparty, because no one changed the world without having a little fun!

Invitations are going out first to Frontier Tower Waitlist Members and DeepTech pioneers in London - if this is you do reach out.

We’ve got space for a couple more founder demo / showcases - do you know an awesome DeepTech founders who should be there. If so reply to this email!
